Fitness flooring: what is it made of?
The rubber sheets are made from thoroughly cleaned recycled rubber granulate bonded with polyurethane adhesive. The surface is smooth but porous, and the pore size depends on the density and grain size of the granulate. This structure has no bumps, which gives stability and comfort during training in professional gyms and fitness rooms. The flooring also resists damage and absorbs shocks very well, making it ideal for free-weight and cardio zones.
Available colours and formats
Fitness flooring comes in several colour options to match the character of the training space. The standard black version is versatile and easy to maintain, while the MIX version has a black base with random flecks of coloured granulate. Our range also includes rubber puzzle tiles, which are easy to install and lock together securely, so they do not shift during intense workouts.
Practical rubber sheets
Fitness flooring is available in rolls 1 m or 1.25 m wide and 5 or 10 m long. Sheet thicknesses range from 2 to 15 mm, so the flooring can be matched to the type and needs of each gym. Thinner sheets suit lower-traffic zones, while thicker ones give solid protection and better shock absorption in heavily used areas such as CrossFit zones and walkways.
