Narrow ribbed SBR – Zenith Saturn Basic

Narrow ribbed SBR Saturn Basic is a vulcanised rubber flooring made from synthetic SBR rubber, finished with a characteristic pattern of narrow, longitudinal ribs on the walking surface. The fine ribbed structure creates a dense line of contact points with footwear, which improves traction especially along the rib direction and gives the surface a classic, technical appearance. With a thickness of approximately 2.7 mm, the flooring combines flexibility with good mechanical resistance, making it suitable both as a floor covering and as a protective mat in areas with moderate to higher levels of pedestrian traffic.

The surface of Saturn Basic features narrow, parallel ribs on the top side and a light cloth impression on the reverse, which improves adhesion to the substrate and facilitates bonding in permanent installations. The standard roll format of 1.2 x 10 m allows traffic routes, work areas, entrance zones and back-of-house spaces to be covered quickly, with a limited number of joints. The flooring can be easily cut to size with a utility knife, adapting it to the shape of rooms, platforms, steps or recesses. The narrow ribbing also helps to reduce the risk of slipping in the presence of small contaminants and facilitates directional drainage of moisture from the surface.

Thanks to its construction, narrow ribbed SBR Saturn Basic is used in workshops, warehouses, production halls, garages, service and technical areas, as well as in corridors and on work platforms, wherever the combination of anti-slip performance and floor protection is important. The vulcanised SBR rubber withstands typical in-service loads, protects the substrate against scratches, dents and point impacts, and at the same time provides basic noise and vibration damping, improving user comfort.

The flooring can be used as loose-lay matting on existing floors or as a permanently bonded covering in zones with higher traffic intensity.
