Ryfel wąski (Narrow rib) flooring – ribbed solid rubber with narrow grooves

Narrow Rib SCP Select is a flooring made from solid SBR rubber with a dense, narrow ribbed pattern forming regular, parallel grooves with a small pitch. This profile provides very good traction both across and along the direction of movement, while giving the surface a more commercial appearance than classic, heavy rib patterns.

Narrow Rib flooring is particularly well suited for steps, narrow service walkways, entrance areas and technical corridors, where both user safety and the quality of the visual finish are important. Thanks to its compact, solid structure, the material effectively protects the substrate against scratches and mechanical damage, while remaining easy to cut and install. Narrow Rib SBR flooring is an industrial‑grade product – immediately after unpacking a noticeable rubber odour may be present, which gradually fades over time with adequate ventilation of the room.

Application conditions and limitations

Like other SBR floorings, Narrow Rib is intended for use in chemically neutral environments and is not resistant to continuous contact with oils, fuels or strong chemicals. The flooring should be used mainly indoors; prolonged exposure to UV radiation and ozone leads to accelerated ageing and hardening of the rubber. For planned applications in areas with very high wheeled traffic, it is advisable to consider bonding the flooring to the ground.
