Block ribbed SBR – Zenith Freya

Block ribbed SBR Freya is a vulcanised rubber flooring by Zenith, made from synthetic SBR rubber and finished with a distinctive pattern of longitudinal rectangular blocks on the walking surface. This three-dimensional structure creates a dense network of contact points with footwear, providing very good traction along the rib direction and giving the surface a clearly technical, industrial character. With a thickness of 3 mm, the flooring combines good mechanical strength with resilience, making it suitable as a floor covering and protective mat in areas with intensive pedestrian traffic and wherever reducing the risk of slipping is important.

The surface of the block ribbed flooring features a pronounced longitudinal block pattern on the top side and a light cloth impression on the reverse, which improves adhesion to the substrate and facilitates bonding in permanent installations. The standard roll size of 1.2 x 10 m allows larger areas to be covered quickly with a limited number of joints, and the flooring can be easily cut to the required shapes and dimensions with a utility knife. The longitudinal ribbed blocks also help to channel water, dust and small debris away from the surface, while the textured structure effectively masks typical signs of use.

Thanks to its construction, block ribbed SBR Freya is used in workshops, warehouses, production halls, garages, service zones, platforms and work walkways, as well as in traffic routes and entrance areas. The vulcanised SBR rubber withstands typical service loads, protects the floor against scratches, dents and point impacts, and provides basic noise and vibration damping, improving working and walking comfort.

The flooring can be used as loose-lay matting on existing floors or as a permanently bonded covering in areas with higher traffic levels or in zones exposed to frequent changes in conditions.
