Rekosquare is a rubber mat supplied in rolls for use in construction, industrial and sports applications, designed to function as a semi-finished product that can be adapted to specific project requirements. It is manufactured from finely ground SBR rubber granulate bonded with thermoplastic polymers, forming a homogeneous, resilient composite with a relatively low self-weight and high mechanical strength. A distinctive feature of Rekosquare is its three-dimensional square surface pattern on the working side, which improves traction, enhances walking comfort and gives the mat a clearly technical, industrial appearance. With a thickness of 8 mm, the mat offers very good shock absorption and vibration damping performance while remaining resistant to deformation under long-term loading.

The structure of REKOSQUARE consists of a profiled square-pattern surface on one side and a smoother backing on the other, with a standard roll width of approximately 1.2 m and a length of 10 m. This format allows large areas to be covered quickly and enables convenient cutting of the mat to the required shapes and dimensions – both as continuous strips in traffic routes and as individual panels in work zones, around machines or in training areas. The three-dimensional square pattern creates a dense grid of contact points with footwear, which improves anti-slip performance and user stability, while also helping to trap and channel small debris away from the main walking surface. The uniform cross-section based on SBR granulate and a thermoplastic matrix provides resistance to typical in-service damage such as compression, impact and local point loads, and at the same time is easy to maintain – the mat can be swept, vacuumed or wet-cleaned.

The typical 8 mm thickness and density parameters make Rekosquare an excellent vibroinsulating, acoustic and protective layer in floor systems. It can be used as an elastic underlay beneath floor finishes in residential and public buildings, as a sound-dampening and impact-absorbing surface in sports halls, gyms and fitness areas, and as a protective flooring layer in warehouses, production halls, back-of-house technical rooms and garages. The mat effectively reduces the transmission of vibrations and noise into the building structure, protects the substrate against scratches, dents and other mechanical damage, and, thanks to its three-dimensional square profile, reduces the risk of slipping and improves user safety.

Rekosquare is also suitable as a protection layer in transport applications (for example as a load protection mat or lining of cargo spaces), as an elastic base under equipment and structures, and as a technical surface in temporarily loaded zones. The product is manufactured from recycled raw materials and is fully recyclable, making it compatible with modern requirements for sustainable construction. It is supplied in roll form, which facilitates storage, transport and quick on-site installation, while providing great flexibility in trimming and shaping the mat for individual applications.
