Pads for joists made of 750 MIX regranulate – SBR rubber granulate pads with coloured speckles

750 MIX joist support pads SCP Select are made from SBR rubber granulate bonded with a polyurethane binder, with a density of approx. 750 kg/m³ and random coloured speckles distributed across the surface structure. Thanks to this construction, they form a durable, elastic spacer element between the joist and the substrate. The pad format (e.g. 100 × 100 mm) makes it easy to position them quickly under joists on site, without the need to cut larger sheets or mats.

Regranulate pads create a separation layer between the joist structure and the substrate, improving drainage, reducing the risk of timber moisture and corrosion of metal elements, while at the same time protecting waterproofing layers, screeds, tiles and other floor layers from point loads. The elastic rubber structure helps to damp noise, vibrations and footfall, improving the acoustic comfort of the terrace or decking structure. The lower density of 750 kg/m³ provides a favourable combination of low self‑weight, flexibility and effective cushioning.

750 MIX pads are used as spacers under wooden and aluminium joists in floating and raised deck structures – on balconies, roofs, ventilated terraces, around swimming pools and in garden walkways and platforms. They can be laid on a stable, even substrate (concrete, terrace slabs, bitumen membranes, waterproofing) at regular intervals under the joists, without the need for mechanical fixing to the base. The granulate structure provides good grip and helps to mask minor dirt and signs of use, while the coloured speckles break up the uniform black, making any soiling less visible during operation.

Conditions of use and limitations

Regranulat 750 MIX, as a material based on SBR rubber granulate, is intended primarily for use in chemically neutral environments. The pads are not recommended for long‑term contact with oils, fuels, greases or aggressive chemicals – in such applications, products with increased chemical resistance should be considered. They can be used outdoors and indoors, provided that proper drainage and ventilation of the deck structure are ensured; when exposed to weather conditions, the natural ageing process of the rubber and polyurethane binder must be taken into account.

Thanks to their density of approx. 750 kg/m³, pads made from 750 MIX regranulate offer a good balance between low weight, flexibility and load‑bearing capacity – they are suitable for use under standard terrace structures and utility decks. In the case of very high point loads or non‑standard structural solutions, attention should be paid to adequate spacing of support points and appropriate selection of pad thickness. Like any rubber‑based product, the pads may have a noticeable smell immediately after unpacking, which gradually diminishes over time with adequate ventilation.
