SBR Honeycomb – rubber mat with “honeycomb” structure

The SBR Honeycomb mat is a flexible rubber mat made from an NR/SBR compound, 22 mm thick, black in colour, with a characteristic perforated honeycomb‑cell structure. Its specific gravity is approx. 1.2 g/cm³, hardness 50° Shore A ±5, tensile strength around 3 MPa and elongation at break approx. 200%, which provides good resilience and mechanical resistance in everyday use. The mat is designed to operate in a temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, maintaining its elasticity and performance under typical industrial and back‑of‑house conditions.

This construction allows effective drainage of water and debris while ensuring very good grip and anti‑slip properties, even in wet environments. The thicker, shock‑absorbing rubber layer improves walking comfort and reduces fatigue during prolonged standing on the mat. The mat is supplied in a 1 m wide roll with a length of approx. 10.5 m, which makes it easy to quickly cover larger areas such as corridors, workstations or entrance zones. It can be cut to the required size to match specific workstations, traffic routes or work areas.

The “honeycomb” structure acts as a drainage system – liquids, mud and small contaminants collect below the foot contact area, significantly improving safety and the cleanliness of the surface in use. This type of mat is particularly suitable for wet zones, entrances from outside, car washes, processing plants and any workstations where a stable, anti‑slip surface and partial insulation from a cold floor are important.
