REVOGUM Molet (Round dot)
Revogum Molet is a flexible floor covering made from SBR granulate bonded with thermoplastic polymers, with a functional surface finished in a distinctive circular pattern (“round dot”, “coin”, “metro” or “molet”). This round dot pattern improves grip, provides walking comfort and gives the product a modern, commercial look, making the mat well suited to both functional and technical areas. The standard specification includes an overall thickness of approx. 3 mm, a width of 1.2 m and a roll length of 10 m, which facilitates fast installation over larger floor areas. Thanks to the use of regranulate and a thermoplastic binder, the flooring combines cushioning properties with good mechanical resistance to compression and typical in-service damage.
Revogum Molet is a good choice wherever an economical, anti-slip floor finish is required while maintaining ease of cleaning. The mat is used in workshops, service back rooms, garages, storage bays, as well as in light commercial applications such as corridors and storage zones. The smooth yet textured surface pattern allows easy sweeping and wet cleaning, while the structure itself provides basic protection of the substrate against scratching and point impacts.
Application conditions and limitations
Like other products in the Revogum range, Molet flooring is based on SBR granulate and therefore should not be used for long periods in environments exposed to oils, greases, fuels or aggressive chemicals. Its service temperature range corresponds to typical rubber floorings and is approximately -20°C to +70°C; in conditions close to these limits, tests should be carried out in the target application. Prolonged exposure to weathering, particularly UV radiation and ozone, may over time lead to loss of elasticity and surface chalking – the mat performs best in indoor or sheltered installations. Due to its layered construction and relatively low thickness of 3 mm, in areas with very heavy wheeled traffic or high point loads it is advisable to bond the flooring to the substrate and periodically inspect the condition of the surface.
