Glue Tec – contact spray adhesive

Glue Tec is a high-performance contact spray adhesive designed for fast, clean and strong bonding of various materials used in industry, production, installation and service works. The aerosol form allows an even application of a thin layer of adhesive, reducing application time and ensuring consistent bond quality. The adhesive works perfectly both on larger surfaces and for precise, spot repairs.

Applications

Glue Tec can be used for permanent and semi-permanent bonding of, among others:

technical foams, acoustic foams, sponges

fabrics, carpets, nonwovens, upholstery materials

foils, cardboard, paper, corrugated board

thin plastics and laminates

veneers, decorative elements, labels

rubber and rubber mats (in light installation applications, e.g. temporary fixing, bonding edges, mounting signs, etc.)

It is suitable for use in:

workshops and production plants

upholstery and carpentry work

installation of carpets, wall panels and decorative elements

installation and servicing of soundproofing, technical insulation and acoustic panels

Properties and benefits

Spray form – even surface coverage, fast application, reduced adhesive consumption.

Contact adhesive – after the solvent has evaporated, it creates a strong, immediate bond once the parts are pressed together.

High adhesion to typical materials used in industry, installation and finishing works.

Can be applied to one or both bonded surfaces (depending on the required bond strength and permanence).

Clean application – no brush streaks, uniform spray pattern, reduced risk of soiling the material.

Shorter process time – no need for rollers, brushes or separate adhesive containers.

Directions for use (general guidelines)

The substrate must be clean, dry, degreased and free from dust.

Shake the can vigorously before use to thoroughly mix the contents.

Spray the adhesive from a distance of approx. 15–25 cm using a smooth, even motion.

On more demanding surfaces, it is recommended to apply adhesive to both sides and wait a short time for the solvent to evaporate (contact adhesive).

After a short waiting time (according to the manufacturer’s instructions on the label), join the parts and press firmly over the entire surface.

After finishing work, it is advisable to clean the nozzle by a short spray “into the air”, holding the can upside down.

Safety and storage

The product contains solvents – use only in well-ventilated areas.

Keep away from open flames and high temperatures; do not smoke during application.

Store in the original, tightly closed container, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Do not allow the aerosol container to overheat; do not pierce or burn it.
