Cobra SBR – textile rubber flooring 4 mm, 2 textile inserts, 2 m Zenith

Cobra SBR is a vulcanised rubber flooring by Zenith, supplied in rolls and designed for demanding industrial, technical and commercial applications where a robust, reinforced surface with a textile character is required. It is based on SBR synthetic rubber and additionally reinforced with two textile inserts, which significantly increase dimensional stability and resistance to stretching and tearing under load. The surface pattern has the form of a pronounced, coarse “fabric-like” texture, creating a dense network of contact points with footwear. In the 4 mm version with 2 textile inserts, this construction provides higher mechanical strength, better resistance to point loads and more effective cushioning compared to standard 3 mm variants, while still maintaining sufficient flexibility for everyday use.

The flooring features an anti-slip textile pattern on the working surface and a cloth impression on the reverse that improves adhesion to the substrate and facilitates bonding in permanent installations. The variant offered by SCP is supplied in rolls 2 m wide and 10 m long, which allows large areas to be covered very quickly with a minimal number of joints. Cobra SBR can be cut to size with a utility knife, both into long runners in traffic routes and into tailored pieces for workstations, ramps, loading platforms, service zones or technical corridors. The coarse textile texture effectively improves grip, reduces the risk of slipping and helps to mask minor soiling and signs of wear, while the surface remains suitable for sweeping, vacuuming and wet cleaning.

Thanks to its reinforced structure with 2 textile inserts and a thickness of 4 mm, Cobra SBR is well suited as a protective and anti-slip covering on concrete floors in workshops, production halls, warehouses, garages, back-of-house areas and transport routes, as well as under machines, racks and equipment. The matting protects the substrate against scratches, dents and local chipping, and provides additional comfort by damping footfall noise and vibrations. It can be used as loose-lay matting on existing floors or as a permanently bonded flooring solution in areas with higher pedestrian traffic and light wheeled loads.
