Cobra SBR – textile rubber flooring 3 mm Zenith

Cobra SBR is a vulcanised rubber flooring by Zenith, supplied in rolls and intended for industrial, technical and commercial applications wherever a durable, anti-slip surface with a textile character is required. It is manufactured from SBR synthetic rubber, which provides a good balance between mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and flexibility while maintaining an attractive cost level. The surface pattern has the form of a fine, regular “fabric-like” texture with a dense structure, which makes the flooring well suited as a technical floor covering, protective underlay and anti-slip mat. The 3 mm thickness offers basic cushioning and sound-dampening properties, while keeping the weight moderate and ensuring easy handling and cutting.

The typical Cobra construction features an anti-slip textured pattern on the walking surface and a light cloth impression on the backing, which improves adhesion to the substrate and facilitates bonding in permanent installations. The variant offered by SCP is supplied in rolls 1.6 m wide and 10 m long, allowing large areas to be covered quickly with only a small number of joints. The flooring can be easily cut to size with a utility knife – both into long runners for traffic routes and into shaped pieces for workstations, platforms, benches, tables or storage zones. The fine, textile-like surface improves footwear grip, helps to reduce the risk of slipping and at the same time masks minor traces of use.

Thanks to its construction, Cobra SBR is widely used as a protective and anti-slip covering in workshops, warehouses, production halls, garages, back-of-house rooms and corridors, as well as a protective mat on worktops and assembly tables. It can serve as a vibration-damping underlay beneath light machines and equipment, as a protective mat in car boots, trailers or vehicle interiors, and as a base layer under fitness equipment and in technical areas of buildings. The vulcanised SBR rubber compound provides resistance to typical in-service loads, protects the substrate against scratches, point impacts and soiling, and improves user comfort through basic noise and vibration attenuation.
