REVOGUM Checker
Revogum Checker is a rubber mat made from SBR granulate bonded with thermoplastic polymers, with a characteristic “checker” pattern embossed on the surface that resembles checker plate. This structure combines high mechanical strength with very good anti-slip properties, even when moisture is present on the surface. The mat is supplied in rolls with an overall thickness of approx. 3 mm, a width of 1.2 m and a length of 10 m, which allows large areas to be covered quickly without excessive numbers of joints. Thanks to its relatively low density and the high degree of granulate compaction, the product is both lightweight and durable – it remains resilient while effectively absorbing impact and dampening noise.
Revogum Checker is suitable wherever a durable, anti-slip surface is required with moderate self-weight. Typical applications include protecting concrete floors in workshops, warehouses and loading zones, as well as lining trailers, trunks, luggage compartments, workbenches and workstations. Owing to the checker pattern which improves grip, the mat performs very well in corridors, entrance areas and transport trolleys, where substrate stability and user comfort are crucial.
Application conditions and limitations
Revogum Checker is based on SBR granulate and thermoplastic polymers and is therefore not intended for continuous contact with oils, fuels or aggressive chemicals – in such environments, specialised oil-resistant materials should be selected. Its operating temperature range corresponds to typical industrial SBR/TPE rubber floorings and is approximately -20°C to +70°C; for applications involving long-term thermal loading, in-situ verification is recommended. Despite its increased weather resistance compared to standard solid SBR rubber, prolonged exposure to UV radiation and ozone may lead to gradual surface ageing – for permanent outdoor installations it is advisable to schedule periodic inspections and, if necessary, protect the edges. Before using the product in critical applications (high point loads, intensive wheeled traffic, contact with chemical media), it is recommended to carry out a trial on a sample piece of the mat in the target working environment.
