We offer silicone sheets as transparent and in dark red and blue. Our silicone is available in 10-meter-long rolls with width of 1200 mm. We hold stock of a complete range of thicknesses between 0.5 mm to 10 mm. The Shore hardness is 60 +/-5 Shore A. In addition to standard silicone we can also provide transparent silicone with FDA certificate suitable for contact with food and potable water.
SILICONE CHARACTERISTICS
Flame resistance, great performance in both high and low temperature environments with no loss of elasticity, low toxicity, high resistance to tear, good tensile strength as well as antibacterial properties and resistance to chemical substances are all characteristics of silicone. Silicone sheets remain unaffected by mineral oils and chemical agents, provide good electric insulation. They age very slowly over time and remain relatively unaffected by outdoor elements.

Silicone in the form of sheets serves mostly as raw construction material and is processed further. It can become the basis from which washers, static seals or vibration dampers are being cut from. The range of silicone sheet applications is just as vast as the versatility of products created on its basis. Modified silicone sheets in the form of static seals can be found from the automotive trough food and beverage, pharmaceutical, machine building industries. It is used in confectionaries and delicatessens just as often as in aerospace and electronics. Regardless of the industry the common aspects shared by many silicone sheets applications are the requirement for it be able to withstand high temperature environments and its good insulation parameters. Silicone is used in heating appliances, heat exchangers, and fridges. It functions well when in contact with acetic acid, ammonia, and sodium sulfates. In addition, silicone sheets are inflammable. It does not ignite even when exposed to temperatures exceeding its maximum temperature range for a longer period. In temperatures beyond its limits the sheet will crumble away.
SILICONE SHEETS WITH FDA CERTIFICATE
Several unique characteristics make silicone superior to traditional rubber compounds. Its low toxicity, and high thermal stability cause it to be a popular material used in medicine and food production. This especially in applications that mandate germ and fungi growth prevention. The surface of silicone sheet prevents such growth. Some silicone compounds remain elastic in the temperature ranges above 100°C to over 300°C which makes them feasible for use in applications requiring frequent sterilizing and disinfection. Our offer includes transparent silicone sheets that are physiologically and chemically neutral when in contact with potable water and consumables. We offer those with a test certificate issued by SGS for compliance with the American Food and Drug Agency (FDA) with this regard.
