Rubber regranulate – a versatile material for surfacing, insulation and protection

SBR rubber regranulate is used in many areas wherever shock absorption, noise and vibration damping, and mechanical resistance matter. It is used to produce sports mats and surfaces, flooring in fitness zones, playground surfaces and protective mats, where slip resistance, flexibility and the ability to absorb impact energy directly translate into user safety and comfort. In construction and transport, it performs very well as a protective and technical layer – in the form of mats under machines, underlays beneath structures, vibration‑isolating elements and floor coverings that protect substrates against wear and mechanical damage.

Regranulate is produced in the process of recycling rubber materials, which helps to reduce the amount of waste and lower the consumption of primary raw materials. Manufacturing with regranulate is less energy‑intensive than producing new rubber materials, which helps to reduce the carbon footprint and support sustainable development goals. At the same time, the material retains key performance parameters – high abrasion resistance, flexibility, good damping properties and the ability to operate in varied environmental conditions.

The availability of different densities, thicknesses and formats – from thin mats and roll flooring, through sheets and puzzle tiles, to pads for joists – makes it possible to precisely match the product to loads and application specifics. Rubber regranulate is suitable both for light technical applications and for heavily used commercial zones, offering a favourable balance between durability, user comfort and economic efficiency.
